IAAP Mini and first show, Ramallahannelys
We are grateful to have collaborated with one of the most inspiring institutes of Palestine, the International Academy of Art Palestine. The academy was the first to educate what contemporary and visual arts are in Palestine, which made them believe in us since the beginning. And thanks to their efforts, that we were able to start the project ‘Disarming Design from Palestine’, in close collaboration. They hosted and supported us, and many of the very talented art students joined us in workshops to develop new products.
We are sad about closing the academy but also looking forward to their new beginning as the art department at Birzeit University.
At the recent 10th year anniversary celebration of the academy, we were moved with their final ‘Mini-Exhibition’ where we participated in the celebration with two of our mini-arabia’s. We hope that their huge mini-gestures will continue to move many others.
