in Tate Modern London during Offprintannelys
Offprint Bookair, Tate Modern London, 19—21 May 2017
Offprint Bookfair generously invited Disarming Design to join their forum in Tate Modern. More then 250 independent art publishers were presented with over 15.000 people visiting the turbine hall of Tate. It was empowering to receive so many responses to our project and discover a strong engagement with the Palestinian case in London.
Offprint is a forum gathering independent publishers through a continuously updated website and in numerous locations, including a permanent Bookshop at Le Cloître in Arles, and events at the Palazzo Clerici in Milano (April), the Tate Modern in London (May), and the Beaux Art in Paris (November). It features publications on art, photography, design, architecture, experimental music, open culture and activism. Produced by the LUMA Foundation for LUMA Arles, where it is also headquartered, Offprint seeks to create dialogue within all these thematics. Offprint operates chiefly as a non-profit.
Our participation would not have been possible without the generous support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in the United Kingdom
