These two cushions are much more than an embroidery decoration for your couch. They are emotionally charged. Inspired by ‘The creation of Adam’ by Michelangelo, these two hands dearly want to touch each other. They are the hands of Shaima Hassane from Gaza and her good friend from Jerusalem (only 77 km away). The pillows allow them to touch each other, representing Shayma’s dream of being able to travel freely to visit her friend whenever she wants.
Inspired by the painting of Michelangelo ‘The creation of Adam’, the two pillow cases are enriched by the emotional charge of the real feelings of the two friends.
